Kazakh foreign minister gives time, venue of briefing of participants in meeting on Syria in Astana
ASTANA. Feb 6 (Interfax) - Participants in the international technical meeting on Syria will hold a briefing on the outcome of the meeting in Astana, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry press service said.
"A briefing on the outcome of the international technical meeting on the Syrian settlement will take place today, on February 6, around 5:30 p.m. Astana time on the platform of the central communications service in the Kazmedia Center building (Kunayeva Street 4)," the ministry said.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said on Friday the meeting participants will give a briefing for journalists after the meeting.
"Media accreditation is not envisaged. At the same time, the meeting participants intend to give a briefing after it," the minister told reporters.
A meeting of the joint operative group on Syria is being held in Astana, a source with knowledge on the matter told Interfax on Monday.
