If Trump-Poroshenko meeting, no matter when it takes place, promotes Ukrainian settlement, Kremlin to be happy - Peskov
MOSCOW. Feb 6 (Interfax) - If a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, no matter when it takes place, promotes the Ukrainian settlement, the Kremlin will welcome it.
"If such a meeting somehow promotes the Ukrainian settlement, we will only be happy," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists, when asked about how the Kremlin would feel if Trump meets with Poroshenko before he meets with Putin.
Peskov said that the Kremlin "has no right to comment on the foreign policy priorities of other countries, including the U.S."
