Churkin expecting interesting work with his U.S. counterpart in UN

NEW YORK. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vitaly Churkin is convinced it will be interesting for him to work with United States Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley.

"The impressions, I won't hide it, are positive. I think it will be interesting to work with Nikki Haley," Churkin said in an interview with Interfax, when asked about his impressions of their recent first meeting.

He said he already spoke to Haley "if not about everything, then about many things."

"And about life too. About the specifics of diplomatic life and work. And of course about the problems we have yet to deal with, primarily in the UN Security Council," the diplomat said.
