Russian Helicopters to produce over 220 units in 2017 - CEO
MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - The Russian Helicopters plans to produce over 220 units this year, CEO Andrei Boginsky told journalists.
"Unfortunately, the plans are less than last year. I think that this is more than 220 helicopters," he said.
"We are setting greater plans for ourselves," Boginsky said when asked if the holding planned to build about 200 helicopters in 2018.
"Over the course of the first quarter these figures will be further refined, based on how issues connected with exports work out. The medical evacuation program is developing intensively. We are working jointly with colleagues from the Health Ministry, the Industry Ministry, where order volumes are constantly being refined," he said.
"We expect an increase in order volumes," Boginsky said.
Russian Helicopters plans to deliver Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-35, Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters to the Defense Ministry.
