Rosselkhoznadzor says new restrictions on imports of meat and dairy products from Belarus possible

MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) is not ruling out new restrictions on imports to Russia of meat and dairy products from individual Belarusian suppliers in the near future.

"We are not ruling out the possibility of putting restrictions on beef as well as other types of meat and dairy products," Rosselkhoznadzor spokeswoman Yulia Melano told journalists.

She said this regards individual suppliers and global bans are not being considered.
