Croatian foreign minister to visit Russia

MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Croatia's President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Foreign Minister Davor Stier to discus bilateral cooperation and agreed on the Croatian minister's visit to Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Saturday.

The meeting was held on February 18, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

"The parties reaffirmed the mutual aspiration to intensify bilateral dialogue and carry out mutually beneficial initiatives in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The parties held a thorough exchange of views on the pressing regional and international problems," the statement said.

The parties reached agreement on Foreign Minister Stier's visit to Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
