Novorossiysk port increases cargo handling 6.4% in Jan to 12.7 mln tonnes

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP) Group handled 12.7 million tonnes of cargo in January 2017, 6.4% more than in the same month of 2016, the company said in a statement.

Liquid cargo volumes increased by 3.9% year-on-year to 9.8 million tonnes, bulk cargo - 34.5% to 1.3 million tonnes, general cargo - 7.5% to 1.1 million tonnes and container cargo - 5.1% to 44,000 TEU.
