Libyan PM al-Sarraj to visit Moscow on Thursday, meet with Lavrov - newspaper

MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj, who leads the government of national accord, will arrive in Moscow on March 2 to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Izvestia reported on Wednesday citing sources close to the Foreign Ministry.

Al-Sarraj's visit, which is to take place amid an acute domestic political crisis, is aimed at engaging Russia in settling the conflict, Izvestia said.
