Disengagement of forces in Stanytsia Luhanska in Donbas conflict zone slated for March 7 - Gryzlov

MINSK. March 1 (Interfax) - The Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas met in Minsk on Wednesday to discuss measures to remove heavy weapons from the contact line in the conflict zone in Donbas to storage sites, Russia's representative in the Group Boris Gryzlov said on Wednesday.

"The withdrawal of forces and weapons in Stanytsia Luhanska is slated for March 7," he told journalists after the talks in Minsk.

The attendees also discussed ensuring safety at the Donetsk filtering station, he said.

It was reported on February 28 that Russia insisted on providing safety guarantees for the station and ensuring its smooth operation.

A day earlier Gryzlov also called on Kyiv to lift the transport and economic blockade of Donbas immediately.
