New Astana meeting on Syria tentatively scheduled for March 14-15 as was stated in Geneva - Kazakh Foreign Ministry

ASTANA. March 6 (Interfax) - March 14-15 remains the tentative date of the negotiations on intra-Syrian settlement in Astana, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said.

"The next consultations on intra-Syrian settlement in Astana are tentatively scheduled for March 14-15. The date stated in Geneva has remained. The guarantor countries also determine the level, the format of this meeting," Abdrakhmanov told reporters in the parliament on Monday.

Astana contacted the negotiation participants on Sunday, he said.

"Our most recent contacts with the guarantor countries took place on Sunday. They continue conducting consultations between each other on the dates," Abdrakhmanov said.
