Russian gasoline prices rise 0.6% in Feb, 0.4 percentage points above inflation
MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - Retail prices for gasoline in Russia rose 0.6% in February 2017 compared with the overall inflation rate of 0.2% for the month, Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported on Tuesday.
In January-February gasoline prices rose 1.4% compared with overall inflation of 0.8%. In 2016 gasoline prices rose 3.8% with inflation of 5.4%.
In December 2016 gasoline prices rose 0.3% after growing 0.1% in November and declining 0.1% in October.
In comparison to February 2016, gasoline prices were up 5.8% in February. Inflation in February was 4.6% in annual terms.
