EAEU premiers to additionally mull economic integration and trade potential of member-states

BISHKEK. March 7 (Interfax) -Two additional items have been included in the agenda of a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Board Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan said.

"These issues concern the potential of integration and the spheres in which our efforts can produce significant results," he said at an expanded session of the council in Bishkek on Tuesday.

He said that the council session with restricted attendance "reached agreement on all issues and passed resolutions on all issues."

Meanwhile, minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tamara Valovaya said that the first additional agenda item concerns the development of the spheres of economy having high integration potential and capable of becoming an additional incentive for the advancement of economies, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia in particular, and promoting the formation of a common market.

"The second additional agenda item is related to the development of the trade potential of EAEU member-countries," she said.

Initially the agenda of the intergovernmental council session consisted of 14 items.
