Tatneft boosts oil production 4% in Jan-Feb
KAZAN. March 9 (Interfax) - Tatneft produced 4.695 million tonnes of oil in Tatarstan in January-February 2017, 4% more than in the same period last year, the company said in a press release.
In February alone, 2.222 million tonnes of oil were produced, up from 2.187 million tonnes in February 2016, an increase of 1.6%.
The company has slowed growth rates. In January-February 2016 oil production grew 6.1% year-on-year and 8.3% in February alone.
Tatneft subsidiaries outside of Tatarstan, including Tatneft-Samara and Tatneft-Severny, produced 59,300 tonnes of oil in 2M 2017, up 3.9% year-on-year, and 28,100 tonnes of oil in February alone, up 3.2%.
The entire Tatneft group produced 4.754 million tonnes of oil in January-February, up 4%, and 2.251 million tonnes of oil in February alone, up 1.7%.
The total includes 215,600 tonnes of high-viscosity crude oil, 5.2% more.
Tatneft also said that Taneco refined 1.396 million tonnes of oil in 2M 2017, including 668,500 tonnes in February, and produced oil products including other feedstock of 1.444 million tonnes in Jan-Feb 2017 and 695,000 tonnes in February 2017.
