Belarus had 1.4% inflation in Jan-Feb
MINSK. March 10 (Interfax) - Belarus had 0.5% inflation in February and 1.4% inflation in the first two months of 2017, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said.
Prices for foodstuffs rose 0.5% in February and 1.7% in 2M.
Prices for non-food goods fell 0.02% in February and rose 0.8% in January-February.
Service charges increased 1.5% and 1.8% respectively.
Belarusian inflation in 2016 was 10.6%, below a forecast 12%. Inflation is not forecast to rise above 9%.
