Donbas transport blockade at odds with all of Kyiv's previous statements - Lavrov
MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says he plans to find out more details regarding reports that Kyiv has imposed a full transport blockade on the self-proclaimed republics of Donbas.
He said also that this blockade runs counter to all previous statements made by the Ukrainian government.
"If that's the case, this would be at odds with all of the statements made by the prime minister and other high-ranking members of the Ukrainian leadership," Lavrov told journalists.
"I don't know what else I can say until I find out what exactly the statement you referred to means," Lavrov said when asked to comment on the relevant statements by Kyiv.
When asked if such activities run counter to the Minsk process, the minister said: "This contradicts common sense and human conscience."
