Syrian opposition not to come to Astana for talks - Kazakh Foreign Ministry

ASTANA. March 16 (Interfax) - The Syrian opposition's delegation will not arrive in Astana to attend the talks on Syria, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Anuar Zhainakov told Interfax on Thursday.

"Information was received last night that the delegation of the Syrian opposition will not come after all," he said.

The information available to the Foreign Ministry indicates that members of the guarantor countries' delegations still staying in Astana are not expected to hold any consultations on Thursday, Zhainakov said.
