USC expects around 7 bln rubles in net profit in 2017 - Rakhmanov

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) net profit in 2017 will total 7 billion rubles according to preliminary data, USC President Alexei Rakhmanov said.

"We expect net profit of around 7 billion rubles," he said at a meeting in Moscow dedicated to USC's 10-year anniversary.

USC is Russia's biggest shipbuilding holding company set up in 2007. The company is 100% owned by the state. The holding includes around 40 planning and construction bureaus, research and development centers, shipyards, and ship repairing and machine building enterprises.
