Real incomes in Russia plummet 4.1% in Feb - Rosstat

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Real disposable incomes in Russia plummeted 4.1% year-on-year in February after soaring 8.1% in January, Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Nominal per capita incomes in February 2017 rose 1.2% year-on-year to 29,100 rubles.

The average nominal monthly wage due to employees was 35,900 rubles in February 2017, up 6.0% compared to the same month in 2016. In real terms, the average wage grew 1.3%.

Real incomes have fallen in Russia for three years in a row, by 5.9% in 2016, 3.2% in 2015 and 0.7% in 2014.
