Balakliya ammo depot fire is act of sabotage, yet defense capacities sustain minor damage - Ukrainian Defense Ministry

KYIV. March 23 (Interfax) - The ammo depot fire in Balakliya, the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, did not inflict any considerable damage on Ukraine's defense capability, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said.

"Ukraine's defense capability did not sustain any significant damage from those explosions," Poltorak told a press briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, noting that the Balakliya depots were not the largest ones in the country.

Since the beginning of the operation in Donbas, most ammunition stocks "have been moved to other depots and storage sites, as well as to the operation zone," he said.
