Permitted rallies' slogans, critique to be taken into account - Peskov
MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - The ideas and critique offered by participants in permitted rallies in a number of Russian cities on Sunday will be taken into consideration, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Of course, rallies were permitted in certain cities and passed in strict compliance with the law and without any incidents. Slogans, ideas and critiques offered in those cases will definitely be taken into account," Peskov told reporters.
A journalist asked whether Peskov's words meant the authorities might react to the demands made at permitted demonstrations. "One way or another, we are certainly taking into account the sentiment expressed at the demonstrations which could and should be deemed lawful," Peskov said.
