Putin hopes Moscow, Washington to improve cooperation due to common interests in Arctic
ARKHANGELSK. March 30 (Interfax) - Russia and the United States will hopefully manage to improve bilateral cooperation due to their common interests in the Arctic, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We have very good examples of cooperation [...] in exploring this region. It offers huge prospects for Russia and the United States, and also for the whole world. I hope we will follow such a two-way road and improve Russian-American relations for the benefit of our peoples and for the benefit of the entire world," Putin said at the International Arctic Forum on Thursday.
