Aliyev condoles in light of casualties of St. Petersburg blast
BAKU. April 3 (Interfax) - Azeri President Ilham Aliyev has extended his condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in regard of the casualties caused by the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro, the Azeri presidential website said.
"I am deeply saddened by the news about the numerous human casualties as a result of the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro. We strongly condemn any actions targeted against innocent civilians," Aliyev said in his message.
The president also extended his condolences to the victims' relatives and loved ones and all people of Russia, wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
