Russian cos, Uzbekistan sign PSA on field development, gas chemical plant

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Gas Project Development Central Asia, a joint venture between Russian gas giant Gazprom and Gazprombank , has signed a production sharing agreement with Uzbekneftegaz, Uzbekistan's national oil and gas company, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.

The PSA is for the Uzbekiston Mustakilligi (Uzbekistan Independence) block, with further exploration and development of the Mustakilliknig 25 Iilligi (25 Years of Independence) field and construction of a gas chemical plant in the Surkhandarya region.
