Ukrainian foreign minister conditions 'Normandy Four' summit on ceasefire, release of prisoners in Donbas
BAKU. April 6 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin believes that the chiefs of states of the Normandy Four countries - Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia - may meet in the near future if progress is made in preparing the Donbas settlement roadmap.
"There is always the possibility of a meeting, yet we need results. Why meet at a particular level if we have attained no result?" Klimkin told reporters on Thursday.
The meeting may be held if progress is made on important issues, such as a ceasefire, release of hostages and elaboration of a roadmap for the Minsk Agreements' implementation, the minister said.
