Oil supply from Russia to Belarus could be increased from 2021

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - The volume of oil delivered from Russia to Belarus could be increased, starting from 2021, it follows from a protocol on amendments to the agreement between the two countries on measures to regulate the trade and economic cooperation in oil and oil products industries from January 12, 2007.

As per the document, from 2017 to 2024, the indicative balances account for 24 million tonnes of Russian gas, intended for Belarus via pipeline. The uses of the oil are specified in the indicative balances from 2017 to 2019.

The specified volumes of oil can be changed depending on the technical capabilities of the trunk oil pipelines no more than 2%.
