Over 20 deputies declare apartments, houses or land sites abroad

MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - Twenty-one State Duma deputies stated in their declarations that they own real estate outside of Russia, some reported owning houses or other property jointly with their spouses, some real estate is registered to the spouses, according to the information posted on the official website of the State Duma on Friday.

According to the information, parliamentarians who have houses or other real estate abroad prefer Spain, Bulgaria, Finland, and also have apartments and land sites in Georgia, Switzerland, Latvia and Ukraine.

Independent deputy Rifat Shaikhutdinov, according to his declaration, has a share in a 6,809 share meters farmstead in Finland, deputy Arkady Ponomaryov has three apartments in Spain (total area of some 500 square meters), and the wife of deputy Andrei Golushko has a house in France (498 square meters) and a land site (7,800 square meters).

The wife of famous boxer and deputy Nikolai Valuyev has a house in Spain (95 square meters), and deputy Vladimir Blotsky has a house in the UK (312 square meters) and a land site (1,050 square meters). The wife of deputy Valery Gartung has an apartment in Switzerland (190 square meters), Konstantin Zatulin has an apartment in Spain (95 square meters), deputy Sergei Sopchuk has an apartment in the Czech republic (115 square meters), and famous hockey player and deputy Vladislav Tretyak has two apartments in Latvia (167 square meters each).
