Progress made in inquiry into ex-State Duma deputy Voronenkov's murder - Ukrainian police chief
KYIV. April 25 (Interfax) - Substantial progress has been made in the establishment of identity of the persons involved in the killing of former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, Ukrainian National Police chief Serhiy Knyazev said.
"There has been progress in identifying the persons involved in the premeditated killing of former Russian State Duma deputy Voronenkov," Knyazev said in a report at the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's board meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday.
It had been reported earlier that Voronenkov had been killed in the center of Kyiv on March 23, 2017. His bodyguard injured the killer, who later died at a hospital. The killer has been identified.
