Second victim of Balakliya ammo depot explosions dies in Ukraine
KYIV. April 28 (Interfax) - A woman injured in the explosions at the Balakliya ammo depots over a month ago has died in hospital, the local edition ANT said, referencing the Balakliya district administration.
According to the local authorities, the woman born in 1962 died in hospital, which admitted her on March 23, on April 25.
Explosions at the 65th ammo depot (military unit No 1652) in the town of Balakliya in the Kharkiv region began in the small hours of March 23. A woman was killed instantly, and three people were hurt. In the opinion of detectives, it was an act of sabotage staged by use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Five populated localities had to be evacuated. The damage caused by fires and explosions has been tentatively estimated at about 220 million hryvni.
