N. Korea's unsuccessful missile launch doesn't affect background radiation in Primorye - meteorologists
VLADIVOSTOK. April 29 (Interfax) - Background radiation levels in Primorye remain normal and have not changed following North Korea's yet another missile test.
The background radiation in the Primorye territory is currently 10-12 micro-roentgens per hour, which is in line with the normal levels, the Primorye Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Agency said on its website. Experts measure levels every hour.
As reported, North Korea launched another ballistic missile unsuccessfully on Saturday morning. It was launched from the Pukchang airbase, flew about 30-40 kilometers and fell in the area of the Sea of Japan, having failed to leave the North Korean territory.
