United Grain Co revenue falls 30% to 12.1 bln rubles in 2016
MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Revenue at United Grain Company (UGC) dropped 30% to 12 billion rubles in 2016, down from 17.3 billion rubles a year earlier, the company said in financials.
Gross profit fell to 3.398 billion rubles from 4.927 billion rubles in 2015, while net profit declined by a smaller amount, to 2.238 billion rubles from 2.549 billion rubles.
Total dividends declared and paid for 2016 came to 836.937 million rubles (compared with 260.595 million rubles in dividends for 2015), of which 418.469 million rubles was paid to state property agency Rosimushchestvo (130.297 million rubles).
UGC also reported that it spent 32 million rubles in March 2017 to buy 10,259 shares in a subsidiary, JSC Elevator, increasing its stake from 51% to 81.86%.
