Navalny pulled out of rally against home demolition in Moscow

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - Law enforcers have pulled Alexei Navalny out of an authorized rally that is being held on Moscow's Sakharov Avenue in protest against the Russian capital's renovation program, eyewitnesses said.

"Alexei and his family have visited the anti-renovation rally but when they were approaching the stage, they were met by policemen and escorted beyond the fences," an eyewitness to the event told Interfax.

People whishing to express dissent with the existing Moscow renovation plans are holding an authorized rally in central Moscow on Sunday.
