Kamaz sells 2,443 trucks in April

MOSCOW. May 15 (Interfax) - Kamaz sold 2,443 trucks in April, a company representative told Interfax.

It sold 2,061 vehicles in Russia and exported 382.

Sales revenue grew 34% year-on-year to 38.9 billion rubles in January-April, and investment rose 37% to 3.3 billion rubles. The market share fell to 53.2%, from 65% a year previously. Revenue for April was 9.9 billion rubles, a company representative said.

Total production in January-April was 9,326 heavy goods vehicles, up 18%. Of them, 7,810 were sold in Russia and 1,516 went for export.
