First motor vessel from North Korea to arrive in Vladivostok on May 18
VLADIVOSTOK. May 17 (Interfax) - A motor vessel performing the first voyage between the North Korean port of Rajin and Vladivostok is due to reach Vladivostok on Thursday.
"The arrival in Vladivostok is scheduled for Thursday, approximately at 7:30 a.m.," a spokesman for the InvestStroyTrest operator company told Interfax.
The vessel will drop anchor at the marine terminal.
The company said on its website that MV Mangyongbong, capable of carrying 200 passengers and 1,500 tonnes of cargo, will be performing shuttle trips. In all, seven trips are expected to be performed by late June.
