Russian Armed Forces have almost 400,000 contract servicemen - Shoigu

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - The number of contract servicemen in the Russian Armed Forces is approaching 400,000 people, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

"The number of contract servicemen has been increased to 384,000 people," Shoigu said at the Federation Council on Wednesday.
