Moscow still cannot see NATO as participant in fight against terrorism in Syria
MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - The NATO can help the fight against terrorism in Syria if this is really the alliance's objective, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said.
"If they are really pursuing the goal of fighting terrorism and joining efforts in this respect, then yes [they can help]. If they have any other agenda or other political goals, then this can call it all into question," Gatilov told reporters when asked about whether the North Atlantic Alliance could make its contribution to the fight against terrorism in Syria.
