Russian oil exports up 0.8% to 62.4 mln tonnes in Q1 - Rosstat

MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - Russian oil and gas condensate exports rose 0.8% year-on-year in Q1 2017 to 62.4 million tonnes, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, citing Federal Customs Service (FCS) data, which include trade with Belarus.

Oil accounted for 27.9% of overall Russian exports in Q1 2017, up from 23% a year previously, and 43.4% of overall fuel and energy exports, compared with 39.1%.

The average export price for oil in March 2017 was $368.5 per tonne, down 2.3% compared with February 2017. Urals blend traded at $363.3 a tonne on the world market, down 7% from February.

Russia produced 136 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in Q1 2017, 0.1% more than in Q1 2016, and refined 69 million tonnes, up 7.3%.
