Angolan Angosat satellite launch from Baikonur moved to September - source

BAIKONUR. May 31 (Interfax) - The launch of the Angolan Angosat satellite from Baikonur Cosmodrome has been moved from July to September 2017, a source at Baikonur told Interfax.

"A Zenit-2SB LV coupled with the Fregat-SB upper stage and carrying the Angolan Angosat telecom satellite is due to lift off from Baikonur Cosmodrome in late September," the source said.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev told reporters after his meeting with Angolan Vice-President Manuel Vicente in Luanda last week that the satellite was undergoing tests.
