BAIKONUR. June 2 (Interfax) - Konstantin Bugysin, former general director of Concern Kalashnikov, has been appointed head of the administration of the city of Baikonur, a source in the city administration told Interfax on Friday.
A joint decision on his appointment was made by the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan on May 30. "Konstantin Bugysin is expected to become head of the Baikonur administration on June 8," the source said.
Bugysin will replace in this post Anatoly Petrenko, who became acting head of the administration in September 2013 and was made head of the city by a joint decision by the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan in July 2015.
