Necessary to ensure conditions for all sides' participation in Syria talks in Astana - President Nazarbayev

ASTANA. June 9 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has reiterated the need to ensure conditions to allow the intra-Syrian settlement talks in Astana to continue.

"Kazakhstan continues to make its contribution to the negotiating process on settling the intra-Syrian crisis on the 'Astana process' platform. It is important to ensure conditions for [participation of] all parties concerned in these talks," Nazarbayev said at an expanded session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of State in Astana on Friday.
