Russian Deputy FM discusses Kuwait's role in Qatar crisis settlement with Kuwaiti ambassador

MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Kuwaiti Ambassador in Moscow Abdulaziz Al-Adwani have discussed the recent deterioration of relations between a number of states and Qatar.

"During their trustful conversation, the parties discussed key aspects of the situation in the Middle East with a focus on the deterioration in relations between a number of states of the region and Qatar and the relevant mediation efforts that Al Kuwait is actively making at the moment," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a report on Friday.
