Kremlin warns against provocations during protests in Moscow
MOSCOW. June 12 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes any provocative and unlawful actions should be avoided in light of the opposition's declared intention to hold a protest rally on Tverskaya Street in Moscow instead of Sakharov Avenue, the location previously cleared by the city administration.
The Dozhd TV channel quoted Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov as saying that the opposition's decision to transfer the protest to Tverskaya Street from Sakharov Avenue is an issue of the Moscow city administration.
At the same time, "it is important to avoid any provocative and unlawful actions," Peskov said.
