Gas price regulation in Russia will be scrapped, says dep energy minister
BERLIN. June 15 (Interfax) - Wholesale gas price regulation in Russia will be phased out, Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky said.
Russia is improving the regulatory environment for gas, for example liquefied gas exports have been liberalized, he said during the international conference "Prospects of Russia-EU Energy Cooperation. Gas Aspect" in Berlin.
Yanovsky also said he thought independent gas producers would soon gain access to underground gas storage facilities.
