EU Foreign Affairs Council to extend sanctions against Russia by one year over Crimea, Sevastopol - document
BRUSSELS. June 15 (Interfax) - The EU Foreign Affairs Council will extend sanctions against Russia for the "illegal annexation" of Crimea and Sevastopol by one year untill June 23, 2018, according to documents distributed in Brussels on Thursday at a council session of the heads of the EU Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The EU Foreign Affairs Council will meet in Luxembourg on June 19.
The measures concern EU citizens, companies established in the EU and apply only on the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, a communique said.
