PPG Industries opens paintworks plant in Lipetsk for 45 mln euros

LIPETSK. June 16 (Interfax) - PPG Industries has opened a production plant for paint coatings in the Lipetsk special economic zone, an Interfax correspondent reported from the event.

The new industrial complex includes production of automobile, industrial, packaging and protective coatings, as well as technical laboratories, administrative and logistics distribution zones.

Investments in the project totaled 45 million euros. The plant will produce 25 million liters of paint material per year. Around 200 jobs were created.
