FSB kills foreigner making explosives in Vladimir region

VORONEZH. June 19 (Interfax) - Officers of the Vladimir region department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) killed on Monday a native of a Central Asian republic who was manufacturing explosives and explosive devices, a department spokesman told Interfax.

The suspect fired a Makarov handgun on FSB officers searching his residence in Kovrov. He was shot and killed in the gunfire exchange.

There were no casualties amongst law enforcers and civilians, the spokesman said.
