Pharmacy Chain 36.6 expects to boost share of online sales to 10% by mid-2018
MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - Pharmacy Chain 36.6 expects to increase the share of online sales in revenue to 10% by the middle of 2018 from 1% with the launch of an online pharmacy based on the SAP Hybris Commerce platform, the company said in a press release.
The online pharmacy will offer over 15,000 name-brand products that can be paid for and picked up at any Pharmacy Chain 36.6 location.
"We expect a synergistic effect from the operation of our online pharmacy together with [online retailer] Ozon.ru, which in time will enable us to become leaders in the online domestic pharmacy retail segment," Pharmacy Chain 36.6 board chairman Ivan Saganelidze is quoted in the press release as saying.

Pharmacy Chain 36.6 currently has about 1,728 retail locations in Moscow, Moscow region and St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. The company's controlling shareholders are Saganelidze and CEO Vladimir Kintsurashvili.
