Environment Ministry allows for reduction of Paris climate agreement ratification timeframe

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - The Russian Natural Resources and Environment Ministry is allowing for a reduction in the timeframe for the ratification of the Paris Agreement from a planned 2019, ministry head Sergei Donskoi said at government hour at the State Duma.

"A report will be prepared for the President on the advisability and timeframes of the ratification of the Paris Agreement. And they could be adjusted towards a reduction," he said.
