AEM Technologies gets $36.3 mln order for Akkuyu NPP

MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - AEM Technologies has received orders worth $36.3 million to manufacture and supply 16 spherical casings for the four generating units of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey, according to state nuclear corporation Rosatom's procurement website.

The Central Engineering Bureau placed the order. Both the bureau and AEM Technologies are located in St. Petersburg and both are part of Atomenergomash (AEM).

Manufacturing will begin as soon as permission is received from the Turkish energy regulator.
