Russia can create conditions to boost oil output despite sanctions - Energy Ministry's Molodtsov

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Russia is ready to create conditions for boosting oil production in the country even given sanctions, Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov told journalists.

"For three years we increased production volumes, we will increase [them] and, moreover, create conditions so that we increase production levels at existing fields, new fields, and fields on the shelf," Molodtsov said.

"The issues of sales, understandably, are divided into two parts for us: the domestic market and exports. If someone believes sanctions are a mode of existence, let them believe that," he said, adding that Russia is ready for sanctions.

"Let whoever wants impose [them], but we will be working," he said.
