Future of anti-Russian sanctions depends on Ukraine peace process - German foreign minister

KRASNODAR. June 29 (Interfax) - German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel has linked the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions to progress in the Ukraine settlement.

"Speaking of sanctions, there is a need for progress in the Ukraine peace process, where the positions of the national government and the separatists should be coordinated," Gabriel told reporters on Thursday, referring to the negotiations he had with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday.
